RB Fuels (Renewable Biofuels) in Port Neches, Texas is the largest biodiesel production facility in North America. SMWP/AIG has been a trusted partner of RB Fuels since the initial construction of the facility in 2008. Based on SMW Projects sustained safe, high quality workmanship and co-operative execution culture they have become RB Fuels “go-to” Contractor for construction support.
With the growing market for alternative energy RB Fuels has been expanding its capabilities to meet the demands of a growing market. SMWP/AIG has been a valuable resource in these successful expansions, many of which included substantial concrete foundation and horizontal concrete work, most recently in a glycerin unit expansion.
In addition to civil work, foundations, paving, walkways and berms, SMWP/AIG has done piping, fabrication and erection of structural steel, mechanical equipment, and I&E installation.
SMWP/AIG has performed numerous projects for RB Fuels and worked over 150,000 Man hours on these projects without any recordable safety incidents and with a high level of customer satisfaction.
